Welcome to #HackAuction, hosted by ACM Bennett University, where innovation met chaos, and coding turned into a high-stakes auction house of strategy, negotiation, and sheer adrenaline. ๐ฎโ๐จ
๐ฏ The Format That Changed Everything
This wasnโt just about building the best tech โ it was about playing smart.
28 clubs from across campus โ including GDG, GFG, CSI, WIE, and more โ entered the arena armed not with code, but with 5,000 points to bid for:
- Tech stacks ๐ป
- APIs ๐
- Even... teammates ๐ฌ
Yes, you read that right.
๐ก ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ?
- Buy frameworks: React, Vue, Firebase, Supabase โ everything had a price.
- Sell teammates (briefly ๐ ): We sold 2 members for 1,500 points each โ and bought them back when we had enough!

Strategic chaos: We splurged 7,900 points on Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Firebase, and were left with just 100 points.
No regrets.
๐ฅ The Build Phase
No comfort zones here.
Every team had to master their โboughtโ stack on the fly โ with docs flying open, Figma mocks being born in real time, and components breaking and fixing faster than you could say โmerge conflict.โ
